The little freckles dotting across the bridge of her nose. The cheeky side-glance he gives you when he's being bashful. The way she covers her mouth when she giggles. His big brown eyes and impossibly long eyelashes...
It's these little details that we want to store in our minds forever. It's these little details that I'm looking to capture during your child's Fun Sized Session.
Fun Sized Sessions are designed to be just that...FUN. No kid wants to be told to sit still and say "cheese". I promise, my sessions aren't that. As a dad of three, I'm an expert at holding the attention of little ones and really connecting with them. I love to joke, sing songs, and make silly noises during my shoots. I also have several surprises during sessions that really help keep kids engaged. (Short attention spans, am I right?) In between these moments of connection, I'm capturing all the personality and facial features of your little guy or gal.
I genuinely love this time interacting and photographing your kid. It's my job to make them love it too.

It's time to sign a contract!
It may seem boring or unnecessary, but here's the thing...contracts are important for us both. A contract not only protects me and my business, but it also protects you, your experience, and your deliverables. Win win!
At contract signing, a small retainer (which is applied to your total session fee) is due. The remainder of your session fee is due seven days prior to shoot date. I accept multiple payment options. If you don't see yours listed, just let me know!

It's shoot day. My favorite part!
We'll meet at the studio, the location of which will be provided by email to you prior to your shoot date.
First, I like to get to know your child and introduce them to some of my equipment. For older kids, I even give a little hands-on time with my camera! I find that doing this takes a little of the scariness out of their day and warms them up to having their photo taken.
Then, we get to shooting! I provide prompts and tell jokes to your child. I don't mean to brag, but I'm kind of a super duper expert at this part. Sit back and watch the magic happen! A Fun Sized Session usually only takes 10-15 minutes, so you're in and out and I've got all I need.

It's gallery day! Hooray!
The typical turnaround time for your Fun Sized Session gallery is one to two weeks. I take this time to cull (select the very best photos), edit, upload, and deliver your photos.
Your pictures will be provided via a personalized password-protected proofing portfolio site (alliterations are my jam).
Your gallery will include the ability to download your beautiful images in high-resolution size (for printing) and lower-resolution size (for emailing/social media).
Also included with your gallery is the ability to print from my fantastic printing company. I've hand-selected ProDPI as my printing lab. In my opinion, their quality and customer service is unmatched. They are the lab I use for all of the photos in my own home. And let me tell you, the look and feel of their prints is REMARKABLE.
