My Biggest Announcement Yet

I’ve been keeping a big, big secret, friends, and I’m so pumped to be finally sharing it with you all! It’s definitely a very exciting day in our household and there’s no one else I’d rather share the excitement with than my Fun Sized Photo Co community.

OK, are you ready for my biggest announcement yet? Ahhh….

… I JUST PUT IN MY TWO-WEEKS NOTICE!

I have been working and growing my photography business for more than 10 years now. As it has grown, it’s remained a side hustle with mostly weekend bookings and many, many, many hours of editing done in the evenings after the kids were in bed.

I’ve been stretched thin and tired.

But I have also been inspired, motivated, and excited for this growing business.

The first time I admitted out loud that I wanted to do this full-time was January 13, 2022. In less than two years, with your bookings, shares, likes, and comments, and with the support of my wife, I am now taking the leap.

I can remember when that first St Pete inquiry came through in March of 2022. We were crossing our fingers that we could keep my business in Nashville while simultaneously finding new clientele in Tampa Bay. Now, not only is Fun Sized Photo Co thriving in Nashville, growing in St Pete/Tampa Bay, but I’m launching in Atlanta!

Thanks to you, I am now a full-time photographer.

While this is huge for me and my family as I gain back more time in my days, this is also a big win for you all as clients. With more time and focus for Fun Sized Photo Co, I’ll be able to build on and nurture this incredible community we’ve created. Here’s what you can expect in the coming months:

More Availability

With 40 hours a week back in my own hands, I will be available for more weekday bookings and travel. Whether you want me to come to your city or simply want to schedule a beach family session on a random Thursday afternoon, I can make it happen.

More Cities

On that availability note, I’ll have much more freedom to travel meaning additional Fun Sized Photo Co pop ups will be added to my calendar! (Make your requests here.) I’ll be in Atlanta at the end of this month and we’re already making plans for Memphis, Orlando, Miami, and Austin.

More Focus

With more time to dedicate to my craft, you’ll see quicker turnaround time for galleries, more blog post content, and an overall elevated client experience. I’m also looking forward to having time for more personal growth opportunities so my skills can continue to grow as your kids do.

More Offerings

As I move forward with Fun Sized Photo Co and Brent Kee Photography as my full-time focus, I’m excited to expand my offerings beyond family sessions and kid portraits. Although the Fun Sized Sessions will forever be my favorite and a staple offering in my business, I look forward to opening up my schedule to more branding sessions for small business owners. (Keep an eye out for more on this soon!)
